About Us
Lecturio is a leading international medical and nursing e-learning platform, serving students as well as educational institutions. Lecturio’s mission is to address the severe shortage of healthcare providers around the world through increasing access to quality medical education. Using state-of-the-art technology and learning science, Lecturio has grown from its headquarters in Leipzig, Germany, where it was founded in 2008, to become a global leading digital teaching engine for health professions education.
Senior Manager, Conferences & Field Marketing, U.S. (all genders)
Lecturio is looking for a Senior Manager, Conferences & Field Marketing to own our U.S. conference program and help build a scalable global field marketing operation.
This is a hands-on role with significant ownership. You will be responsible for approximately 30 national and regional medical and nursing conferences across the United States each year, managing the full conference lifecycle from annual planning and budgeting through logistics, on-site execution, lead activation, reporting, and optimization.
The role combines operational execution with strategic oversight. In the U.S., you will personally ensure our conferences are planned and executed successfully from A to Z. Globally, you will help establish the systems, processes, measurement frameworks, and standards that allow Lecturio's international conference program to operate consistently and efficiently.
You will also manage an international conference team member, support selected Tier 1 international events, and serve as a key coordinator for Lecturio's U.S. association and conference partnerships.
The goal is straightforward: make conferences a well-run, measurable and scalable B2B marketing channel that contributes to relationships, qualified leads and pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
U.S. Conference Strategy & End-to-End Execution
- Own the annual U.S. conference calendar and end-to-end execution of approximately 30 national and regional events.
- Manage budgets, timelines, vendors, sponsorship deliverables, booth logistics, booth content, travel, staffing, shipping, and on-site execution.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and senior leadership to prioritize events and ensure strong forward planning.
- Lead on-site execution for Tier 1 and selected Tier 2 conferences.
Conference Activation, Lead Generation & Pipeline
- Define clear goals for priority events, including leads, meetings, demos, target-account engagement, and pipeline contribution.
- Coordinate pre-event promotion, booth experience, lead capture, and post-event follow-up across Marketing, Lifecycle, and Sales.
- Support higher-value activations such as workshops, meetings, dinners, and partner events.
- Ensure leads are captured accurately and moved quickly into the right CRM and follow-up workflows.
Measurement & Optimization
- Track conference spend, lead generation, cost per lead, meetings, demos, opportunities, and downstream pipeline impact.
- Build clear year-over-year reporting and visibility into event performance.
- Use performance data to recommend improvements to future event selection, investment, sponsorships, and execution.
Global Operations & Team Leadership
- Manage and support the team member responsible for international conference execution.
- Support selected Tier 1 international conferences and maintain visibility across the global conference calendar.
- Refine scalable playbooks, processes, vendor systems, and reporting standards that can be used across regions.
- Ensure consistent quality and measurement across U.S. and international events.
Partnerships & Sponsorships
- Coordinate Lecturio’s U.S. conference and association partnerships and ensure commitments and sponsorship benefits are fully activated.
- Act as the key liaison between external partners and internal Marketing, Sales, healthcare experts, and leadership.
- Identify opportunities to increase partnership value through speaking, workshops, webinars, research, content, and co-marketing.
Your profile
- 3–6 years experience in B2B field marketing, conference marketing, event marketing, or a comparable role.
- Strong experience managing complex conferences or trade shows from planning through on-site execution and follow-up.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage a high-volume annual event calendar.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, logistics, sponsorships, and multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to connect events to lead generation and pipeline.
- Data-driven, with experience measuring event performance, ROI, and downstream impact.
- Experience managing or mentoring another team member.
