The Role

We're looking for a Social Media & Content Writer to shape how Midas explains itself in writing. You'll write across X, LinkedIn and our blog, turning complex onchain products into clear, accurate content. One day that's a launch thread. The next it's a long-form explainer on how a strategy works, or a post drafted in a founder's voice.

Our products are financial instruments, so precision matters. You'll work within a defined lexicon and messaging guidelines, and route claims and figures for sign-off before anything goes live. You'll sit in the marketing team, report to the Marketing Lead, and work closely with design, legal and product.

What You'll Do

• Write daily posts and threads for Midas on X and LinkedIn in our institutional brand voice
• Draft posts for our founders' personal accounts in their own voice
• Write long-form pieces for the blog, including product explainers, strategy deep dives, and educational content on tokenisation and onchain investment products
• Turn product launches, integrations and partner news into announcements, threads and campaign copy
• Write copy for events and launch assets, and brief design on the visuals that go with it
• Work with product and legal to get the substance right before publishingUse performance data to learn what lands and sharpen what we publish next

What We're Looking For

• One to three years in a writing-led social, content or comms role, ideally in crypto, fintech, TradFi or DeFi
• Excellent written English with real range: a tight post on X, a 1,500-word explainer, and a founder post that sounds like a person
• Fluency with X and crypto-native social, and a feel for what works differently on LinkedIn
• A working understanding of onchain finance and DeFi, and familiarity with real-world assets and tokenisation
• The ability to explain financial products accurately and without hype
• Comfort writing to a house style (we write in British English) and taking edits well
• Accuracy and care: you read the brief, follow the guidelines, and sweat the details
• Writing samples, including at least one thread and one long-form piece (ghostwritten work welcome, with context)

Nice to Have

• Experience scripting short-form video
• Basic Figma skills or experience briefing designers
• A background in financial journalism, TradFi or fintech comms
